Susan, I think you say it very well.  Our whole idea  is support to each other in what we want to do so that we are successful.  I believe that building out the network with committed women who also want to succeed and help other wome succeed is a worthy endeavor.  I believe that TL's idea of quarterly meetings focused around topics with a keynote speaker or some other topic is valid and an important initiative to undertake to get our word out, to make people aware and to build our network of women who want to go "from talk to go".

Maybe our potluck dinner at barbara's house will serve to solidify what TL's vision is and how we can help her achieve it so that our WEN Network moves forward and becomes the group that gets things done.  After all her  "If not now, WEN" idea is a great marketing piece that we should use often.

Susan again you have said it beautifully.  We need to begin building out our WEN space, myself included so that it becomes rich with content  We need to invite our friends and likeminded colleagues to our events and core meetings.  We need to talk about WEN and how we are a group of women hell bent on empowering each other to meet our potential.

Thanks again, Susan.

We can affect change by building out our networks, spreading the good word about the people and ideas connected to WENetwork and by sharing information that will be helpful to others here on this community space. The great thing about an online collaborative space is that no matter where you are, what time of day, or what you look like (!) anyone can access the information posted here to increase their knowledge and opportunities. A strong network that works with and for each other is powerful and will affect positive change, but we all have to build it; it's not something we can buy or leave to others.
