From the International Longevity Center, an online knowledge center focusing on research, policy and education.

Founded in 1990 by world-renowned gerontologist and Pulitzer Prize winner Robert N. Butler, M.D., we are the first nonprofit, nonpartisan, international research, policy, and education organization formed to educate individuals on how to live longer and better, and advise society on how to maximize the benefits of today's age boom.

Continuous Research & Outreach

Societies across the globe are experiencing a massive demographic shift—the longevity revolution. In the United States, a baby boomer turns 50 every 7.6 seconds, and the ILC-USA is responding to that challenge.

We are a “think and action tank” helping individuals, corporations, foundations, and government leaders navigate today’s unprecedented increase in longevity through a continuous cycle of:

  • original research
  • scientific workshops
  • educational publications
  • corporate and government relations
  • media outreach
