Because of our desire to build and expand the Women’s Enterprise Network, we are asking each of you to recommend 5 to 25 people you think would benefit from, or enjoy being part of our network.

For example, by keeping our list up to date, we will be able to let more women know about our quarterly gatherings. Our first event, “WEN Amazing Women Get Together,” is scheduled for early 2009. This is a celebration for all of the wonderful women we are connected to. T.L. Champion is organizing the event and hopes to have details ready soon.

Our next step for the Women’s Enterprise Network is to build capacity and grow participation. Larger networks bring new opportunities for Members, that empower women, build new collaborations, and focus on relevant and hot topics of conversation for our monthly live shows.

Your recommendations of friends, colleagues and neighbors will be added to our current list and will make a difference in the number of people we share our latest Member updates and featured events from the community calendar.

By adding people to our network, we are building a Community of Interest dedicated to strengthening women’s role in the 21st Century focused on solutions to the critical issues women face today.

Please select from your list women who:

o    Want to build their networks
o    Passionate about what they do
o    Want to share experiences and their stories
o    Would like to start something new - a collaboration or new business but don’t know where to connect
o    Interested in coaching and mentoring, contributing to the lives of others

Your Next Steps to strengthen the Women's Enterprise Network:

  1. Invite 5 to 25 friends and colleagues to Join the Women's Enterprise Network web space
  2. Invite 5 to 25 friends and colleagues to contribute their preferred e-mail contact information to the WENetwork database
  3. Encourage Members to personally invite friends and colleagues one by one to the WENetwork web space and to face-to-face gatherings
  4. Build the Facebook group
  5. Contribute to News tab

Please your list of names and e-mails to Betsey Merkel and your recommendations will add them to our main network list.

Thank you!
Betsey Merkel, Susan Altshuler and Gloria Ferris
